Africa World Airlines Limited (AWA) is a new Ghanaian registered private-sector company formed with the sole vision of making air travel an option for majority of travelers within the markets in which we operate.
Africa World Airlines was incorporated on November 15, 2010 and received its Air Carrier Licence (ACL) from Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in March 2011.
AWA flies Lagos to Accra, Kumasi and Tamale airports.
Based on current rates, you can get a return ticket for LAGOS - ACCRA - LAGOS for about 97,500 NGN (naira) as against other airlines going for above 107,000 NGN, a savings of about 10,000 NGN.
AWA only allows one piece of cabin baggage plus one smaller personal-type item such as small handbags for men/women, small cameras, reading material, laptop bags and small backpacks onboard the aircraft.
Each passenger is permitted to check-in up to a maximum of 1 bag at 23kgs for free.
